Preschool Program
	The focus of the Pre-School Program at ENA is to develop gross motor motion among our young athletes. ENA provides specifically designed, enjoyable classes for children 18 months through 5 years old. The classes last 50 minutes, with a student-teacher ratio of 7 to 1. Each week the children learn progressive gymnastics skills on all of the four events: (vault, bars, balance beam, and tumbling) as well as the trampoline, rings, and mini-trampoline. While learning, the children enjoy celebrating the "theme of the week," such as beach week, backwards week, etc. To best serve these rapidly developing youngsters, the program is divided into three age groups:

Parent-Tot Classes

This innovative class for tots ages 18 months to three years provides the child (guided by one of his or her parents) with his/her first structured exercise experience in a pleasant and colorful learning atmosphere. The classes include a 10 minute warm-up period, which incorporates music and stretching concepts. As in our general program, the children then break up into their individual classes and follow the lesson plan for the week on the pieces of apparatus. Through the use of the gymnastics equipment, including the trampoline and our popular "foam pit," and the exploration of large pre-school developmental equipment, your child will not only enhance his/her balance and coordination, but will enjoy quality time with Mom or Dad!

Three-Year-Old Classes

At three years of age, your child will take his/her gymnastics class on his/her own. Parents are always welcome to observe from one of our two lounge areas. While working on strength, coordination, flexibility, and balance, your three-year-old is encouraged to explore and discover body movement, awareness, and expression. Our program utilizes the newest and most imaginative pre-school equipment, as well as the gymnastics apparatus.

Four- and Five-Year-Old Classes

This challenging class is a step above the three-year-old program. It emphasizes the skills mentioned above, and utiltizes the child's learned coordination and awareness to further develop gymnastics skills such as basic rolls, cartwheels, handstands, etc. This class is a wonderful opportunity for your four- to five-year-old to enhance self-esteem, self-confidence, and ability to work both independently and with others.

The Schedule

Off-Schedule 5 Year Olds

The Academy also offers 5-6 year old classes Monday through Friday at 3:45pm, Saturdays at 10:00 and 11:15am, and Wednesdays at 5:00pm for those students who cannot attend during the day. These classes follow the general program schedule and are meant only for those who cannot attend during the regularly scheduled pre-school hours.

Registration & Fees

Pre-School classes at ENA run for 10-week-sessions. For a class of 50 minutes per week, the costs are:

Tuition: $165.00

Registration Fee: $50.00 (all programs- per child annually)

Certain sessions run for 9 weeks due to holidays, and are pro-rated accordingly. There is a 10% discount for an additional class per week, or for multiple children in the program. The registration fee depends on the time of year in which one registers.
